Fall Play 2014 Almost, Maine : Selected as a full-length performance for the Illinois High School Theatrefest
As the Northern Lights hover in the star-filled sky above Almost, Maine, the residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. The magic of all the emotions love involves is the subject of Almost, Maine is this year’s fall production at Hoffman Estates High School (1100 W. Higgins Road).
On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night's dream.
The curtain rises at 7pm on Thursday, November 13th , Friday, November 14th and Saturday, November 15th. Tickets are general seating and can be purchased at the door for $7.00.
Over 80 students from all grades are participating in this show by acting on stage and in the crews of Set Design, Sound, Lighting, Props, Costumes, and Make Up.
